Great set of binocs for the price February 25, 2010 R. Stoffel (Indianapolis, IN. USA) Bought these in anticipation of watching a space shuttle launch, and they did not disappoint. Positives are great optics and excellent light gathering capabilities. Negatives are that they are fairly large and heavy. But if you're looking for a great value on a 10X50 set of binoculars, unless you need something that's waterproof, you need look no further.

For the price these are pretty decent binoculars. The glass is clear and focusing is good. Overall I am real happy with the purchase.
Great pair of binoculars if they meet your needs December 20, 2009 Derek Beresdivin 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I think they're a really great pair of binoculars, for me they were the optimal specs. The 10 times magnification allowed a closeup on far away birds and even a good view of the moon, but not such a high magnification that makes it hard to find things in the sky. For my use I didn't need water proof or fog proof lenses so get the Extreme line if that's what you want, but these are great general-purpose binoculars. The lenses are also high quality. The weight is a little heavy, but first of all that's what you get for having 50 mm diameter lenses, plus we knew that going into it for a better image. Obviously they wouldn't make the best field binoculars (though you can use them for that if you wanted to), but for my own purposes I couldn't imagine a better pair at a better price, so overall I'm extremely satisfied. I recommend doing research into the kind of binoculars you need depending on your use before choosing, but if it matches the capacity of this bad boy, then I wholeheartedly recommend it.

satisfied with Nikon binoculars December 3, 2009 Bay Area Dino (Santa Clara, CA.) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased these binoculars to replace the Bushnell
10x50 Falcons which did not last very long. The first
Bushnell binoculars lenses went out of alignment so I
opted to purchase another to replace it rather than go through the hassle of sending it back to be repaired as they were inexpensive. It wasn't long before the second Bushnell also went out of alignment
so both were useless. I looked for another brand and decided on the Nikon Action 10x50 because of the Nikon
lens reputation and favorable reviews for this binocular. Although pricier than the Bushnell I could
see the clarity and sharpness was better. I focused on the eye of a seagull and was impressed with the detail I could see including the fineness of it's feathers. Although on the heavy side I could tell that
the Nikon was more sturdy and better quality than the
Bushnell. I would reccomend them for being a well made
practcal binocular that serves it's purpose well without having to spend too much money.
